Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. Every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world. The devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Brighten Your Life with the Holy Ghost

Human Suffering

I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. If you suffer, it should not be as a murderer or thief or any other kind of criminal, or even as a meddler. However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name. Because the Lord disciplines the one he loves, and he chastens everyone he accepts as his son. If you are not disciplined—and everyone undergoes discipline—then you are not legitimate, not true sons and daughters at all. Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.

Love Not The World

Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. Who is it that overcomes the world? Only he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.

I love verse 10. This verse is often misinterpreted as money is the root of all evil.

For the love of money is the root of all evil: while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not high-minded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy.

That they do good, that they be rich in good work, ready to distribute, willing to communicate.

Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.

Gift of External Life

Many people own a flat screen tv HDTV today. The flat-screen TV is now more affordable than it was a few years ago. However, it is still somewhat of a hefty purchase. As a people when we make certain purchases the standard manufacturer warranty that comes with the product is important. Sometimes we go beyond the standard warranty to buy extended warranties and a lifetime guarantee.

THROUGH CHRIST, we have been given the free gift to external salvation. We MUST accept Christ’s offering of eternal Life and salvation. Many are spending hundreds of dollars for extended warranties, while others are accepting a free invitation from God to the gateway into heaven.

" Except a man be born again he cannot see the kingdom of God."

Lord, help me to acknowledge my sins and I come asking for forgiveness of my sins. Amen

It's no one's business how you spend your time. Everyone has the freedom to spend their time as they please. It is quite easy to underestimate the importance of time. Despite time being a scarce commodity still one should find time for the Lord. Time comes and goes, but when it is gone it never comes back. If we choose not to spend time with God now it will become a missed opportunity. At the end of the day could be too late.

Seemingly, things we do on a regular basis may be anything but spending quality time with God. Looking for ways to spend time with God can begin with prayer, bible study, taking part in church actitivies, praise and worship Him throughout the day and night. When we learn to spend time with our Creator we become closer to Him in a more personal way.

He's here if we need Him, let's find time for God this second before a crisis or unexpected tragic hit home.

It's a wonderful day to be a child of God. My friend, God is faithful. At our lowest points of life. He has always been there for us. When no one could be found, we could always depend on the Lord. When the storms of life were raging, God was our anchor. When the enemy attempted to destroy us, God was our protection. When our marriage, our ministry, our home, our children or even our job was in jeopardy, God granted an unexplained peace. He is faithful and just. Just think back. It was no one else but God.

O Merciful One, I thank you for being there for me during good times and not so good times. Praise be to You,Dear Lord.

Sadly, many Christians often display hypocrites ways. One minute they are praising the Lord and the next thing that come out of their mouth are fussing and cursing words. In God's house, we give honor and praise to him and we go away carrying out the works of the devil.

I have neighbors that carry the Holy Bible everywhere they go, attend church services on a regular basis. Yet they will not speak nor show no neighborly connect toward others. I been thinking how can one leave the House of Worship and not bring nothing out with them.

It is very sad to allow: "Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be."- James 3:10

Heavenly Father, Help me to control my tongue. Thou I may stumble, but I must continue to try to do better.

Have you noticed that children have pretty much stopped playing outside? Children have stopped playing games such as hide-n-seek, hopscotch, mother may I, just to name a few. In today's world technology prove to have change the way our children are being entertained.

Nevertheless, children are very special to Jesus. Adults are God's children too and should strive to become more childlike on our spiritual journey. The Scriptures tell us: "Unless you turn and become like children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven."- Matthew 18:3.

Children should be a constant reminder of how God wants us to become childlike. "Whoever humbles himself as a child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven." - Matthew 18:4

Friend or Foe

How many times we become attached to another and confine in them? Later we might learn that they have deceived or betrayed us. Do they then become today's friend and tomorrow enemy?

Satan,the real enemy is seeking to destroy the ones who is not hostile. It is Us who lose when we listen to the voice of the enemy. But when we allow God to fight for us against the enemy we achieve victory. Before we can reach victory, it comes after forgiveness to those that hurt us.

God is a about moving ahead, because he have already forgiven us for our past. Before we can move forward we must bury the past. Through transformation we renew our ways of doing things and no longer the way of the world. Proverbs 16:7 tells us these ways are pleasing to the Lord and he makes even our enemies live at peace with us.

The Art of Forgiving

To have been wronged or vice-versa can hurt to the core. The consequence of wronged to someone can lead to a situation that no apology can fully cure. Sure forgiveness can free one the emotional hurt of forgiving the offender. When we we offer an apology it is a great benefit to self more than anything, because there is no way of knowing if the offender will be able to forgive and forget. It's a stuggle to let go of that pride sometimes. Even after the apology the wound still need time to hopefully heal. At some point it is not about the other person, it about you letting go of the hurt and be able to break that inner emotional hurt that been lagging on to you.

God is Love. In fact he loved us so much that he gave his only and only son, so that we might have external life. That must have took a brave heart and a committed relationship to mankind. Imagine losing you only child. Rather it be one or two children, losing one or both can be a awful thing. The hurt and pain for some could last a lifetime.

I can vision that God did not think twice when he gave the most precious child of all to die for sinners. We are so deeply in debt to God, but it not a debt that we cannot afford to be pay. God have given us the tools to be free from the bondage of debt. Debt-free living is God's plan for His people. A debt free life go far beyond the financial obligations.

My dear sister-in-law always said. "Pray about it." As with prayer of a righteous man, so much can be availed. It's never no better time than the moment at hand to say a little prayer. God will heal and deliver us when we pray. If we pray and doubt, we will do without. For this very reason, at times we might say. I have prayed many times, yet my prayer are not answered. But if we pray and believe, we will receive. In this instance, no matter what we ask in our prayers God hears. He might not answer our prayer the moment we call out, that doesn't matter for he is still an on time God. Better yet he knows our needs before even ask.

Isaiah 65:24 says; Before they call I will answer, while they are still speaking I will hear.

When we pray, may we take this earnest request to God and leave it will him. Father, whatever your will be. Heavenly Father, we come unto you now, long before storm come, thank you for all that you have done and for what still to be done.

Blessed or Stressed

Even though stress is part of life that every one experience, it does not have to stress us out. Stress does not discriminate and is not avoidable. Though it not easy to handle stress, I find strength in the Lord to help me get through each day when the I have a stress attack.

When I am faced with stress I am reminded that "God is my refuge and strength, a very present in help." - Psalm 46:1

I have learned to slow my body and mind down to allow the spirit to catch up. You see the body and mind must be sequential with spirit in order to be complete. Unless you are complete, you cannot allow yourself to feel that "You are complete in Him which is the head of principality and power." - Colossians 2:10

I think back to my first 40-hour a week job. I was rushing to get the job done. And this old man called me to the side. He said. "I noticed that you are always rushing. Try slowing down and pacing youself. Now if you can do it all today, then we won't need you to come tommorrow because there will not be nothing left do. And by the way you will only get compensated for today."

Another way I handle stress is by getting my priorities in order and change my way of thinking. After many years, I have learned how to pace myself in anything that I do. When I get in a rush it seems that I my priorities are no longer in order. And I try to stay focus as much as possible, because stress seeks to distract and destroy your peace of mind.

As a baby clings to his mother, I too clings to the Jesus. Because "He is all power and authority." - Matthews 28:18

Always remember to pray and take your stressors to the Lord. Let go, leave your burdens with Him and relax. Remember we are too blessed to be stressed!!!

Mother's day is quickly approaching 9 May. I thought I would post this early so we can get ready to honor all the mothers.

Mother's Day was created by Anna Jarvis in Grafton, West Virginia in 1908 as a day to honor mothers. It did not become a official holiday until 1914. President Woodrow Wilson declared it to be a national holiday.

I remember reading, "God could not be everywhere and therefore he made mothers."

Mothers are so special for they hold their children's hands for a while, but their hearts forever.

Honor your father and your mother, as the LORD your God commanded you, that your days may be long, and that it may go well with you in the land that the LORD your God is giving you. - Deuteronomy 5:16

Setting the Stage for the AfterLife

The Lord invites us to die now to the flesh and rise new in the spirit.

I am reminded of the young man next door. Not a day passes that he doesn't simonize his vehicle. He will spend hours beautifying the outside. Sometimes I wonder do he ever pay attention to the mechanism under the hood. There seems to be no concern to systems that make the car function correctly. When there is a sudden failure in the vehicle then it he will become interest in systems that make the car function properly. It is a liitle too late now since he should had spend less time beautitying and more time on preventive maintenance.

Many times we spend too much time forcing on the physical body and yet we are spiritually dead. The physical body will fade away to its returning orignal form. Remember that your spirit is eternal and when it become seperated from the body it will end up in one of the two places. It is very simple either in heaven or hell. , A polished soul shines on forever and a careless soul will have a dull ending. While there is still time repent and accept Christ as your personal savior.

Darfur Cries

Will the Sudan people ever stop being traumatized and intimidated? Their cries are being heard throughout world. How painful, that the government-armed militia (Janjaweed) continue to hurt and murder innocent people. Entire families are being destroyed and corrupted. No mercy for human life during these disturbing times. This is nothing more than another cold-blooded war on humans. Mark 13:7 tells us: And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet. For these things must occur as a faith strengthing tool for Christians. This called for all christians to lean a hand through prayers and missions. By the Grace of God, missions are taking place to bring hope and healing to those in dying need. There is USA Team in placed called, "Save the Children." They are there to provide help in many ways, from feeding people, medicines, and psychological support. My heart goes out this mission and all involved. "In this world we will have trouble. But take heart." according to John 16:33. A heart of stone for God is the answer to a troubled world

Is There Someone You need to Forgive

If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive you. But if you refuse to forgive others, your Father will not forgive your sins.

How do we let go of the resentment? Sometime it is hard to let go of the hurt and pain. Until we forgive, the pain lies deep in our soul, we're the one that carry the burden and long suffering. A grudge have no place in the heart of man. The longer a grude is held on to, the most likely it to increase the chance of certain ailments in our body. It may increase the blood pressure, heart disease, and other health problems such depression stress and might lead to dependency of alcohol&drugs. When we take the responsibility to forgive, then our soul will receive the greatest benefit. Only true men know the full freedom of forgiveness.

My best friend called me during the weekend. As always it was so wonderful to hear from her. She said. "May, I waited to late to forgive Larry (her ex-husband)." He was my husband of twenty years and then he betrayed me. Since then I been looking for revenge and full of rage. I reminded her of the scripture; Deuteronomy 32:35'Vengeance is Mine, and retribution, In due time their foot will slip; For the day of their calamity is near, And the impending things are hastening upon them.' Oh, She knew the scripture very well and that why she knew to forgive Larry. But it was a bit late, because Larry had gone his way and Pam have since remarried. She realize now if only she could committed to forgiveness sooner, they would probably still be together. Pam told me "that the grass on this side of the fence was not greener; as it was on Larry's side." What a price to pay? During the early years of Larry and Pam's marriage, she also had wronged him. He was able to let go of the hurt to forgive her. After that they had a great marriage, until Pam was starting to reap what she sowed. My friend couldn't handle it when table turned.

Two things learned:
1. Be careful what you do to someone, because they might do it you.
2. Don't wait until all else fail to forgive.

The best way to overcome the hurt is to forgive.

First, began by facing the pain, hurt, and the resentment.
Let go of your emotions.
Cry if you must cry.
Have a converation with God and self.
Be true to self.

Second, Are ready to forgive?
Be sincere about it.
Don't hold yourself responsible for the outcome.
Prepare for rejection.

Third, Take an overall assement of the problem.
Go ahead and let go the resentment and offer forgiveness.
Accept the oucome.
Then let go of it.

Fourth, Free your heart.
Fill yourself with laughter
Look at it another accomplished milestone.
Let the healing process began.

Live and Let Live

I believe this post will tie in with my previous post. Actually, I am referring to the sixth commandment..."You shall not murder." Last night I was watching this movie and the gentlemen was put to death by the electric chair. A piece of the puzzle seems to be missing here. When one break a law of God he doesn't murder him, but when one break certain law of Man he is executed by electrocution. It seems that the persons carrying out electrocution is as guilty as the person committing the crime that is punishable under the death penalty. Is that not murder?

Ok, many murders are approved of in the Scriptures by God. He is all power...can create and destroy.

Ten Commandments

God's instructions are explicit, flawless and truthful. When he tells us something it is certain that it will occur as His intend. He has spoken: "If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and abide in his love. These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you,and that your joy may be full. This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you." - John 15:10-12

How often does we and those around us remove one or more of the Ten Commandments from our lives?

James 2:10 warns us if we break one commandment, we are guilty of breaking all of them. His commandments is a complete unit and must honored as such. Many people seems to want to pick and choose which commandment they keep. Law of God doesn't work that way.....all or none....Amen.

Do you think we obey the Law of Man more than we obey the Law of God?

And God spoke all these words:

"I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.

The Devil is a Liar

In today's society sins are regarded as those our unrighteous acts is pleasing to God. There is a rise in removing God's commands from many aspects of our lives. There seems to be serious attack against the Bible teachings. For there is no recognition of sin, therefore it is only a little repentance and forgiveness taking place today. People are separated from God and that promotes dangerous behavior.

For instance, prayer is prohibited in many schools, religious symbols are banned from public places and no longer does the world leaders support the values of our forefathers from the a biblical standpoint. Nowadays, schools teach the theory of evolution vs the truth. Displaying of symbols from the Ten Commandments to nativity scenes have been challenged in the courts. Politicians are promoting the homosexual lifestyle that have resulted in needless abuse and even death. The entertainment industry is inflated with sex, porno, violence and crimes. As a result, our young people are distracted from the Law of God. These negative images are contributing to school violence, illegal drug and alcohol abuse, suicides, and massive killing sprees in schools.

Many Christians are expressing their concerns in relation to Separation of Church and State. When there is separation from God, there is no hope and people becomes hopeless. Removing the Bible teaching is like removing God from our lives. A world without God would be world of absolute devastation.

Now is the time to let Satan know that He is a liar. We are fed up with His lies and we ready to come together to defeat him by the Grace of God. Because the Devil is a liar. What is your take on this issue?

A Prayer is Answered

Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.

My dear friend Tammy had been trying to conceive for over fifteen years. She and her husband so badly wanted to have a child. After they learned that they were facing fertility problems it was when they began to reach out for infertility treatment. These fertility problems was putting a lot of strain on them. It was at that time they start getting treatment.

The infertility treatments ranged from charting her basal body temperature, countless blood tests, semen qualilty, treatment for endometriosis, numerous of surgeries, and they even tried vitro fertilization. I believe they tried vitro fertilization twice. Tammy would tell me how stressful, costly, and it was hard on her body. They tried for years and no luck. They had gave up hope a long time along.

Tammy and I were very good friend, so we shared a lot of time and thoughts together. I remember we were talking and I reminded her of "The Story of Abraham and Sarah". Now, Abraham was 100 and Sarah over 90 when they gave birth to their son Isaac. God is doing is the same thing now that he was doing then. I told Tammy to stay faithful until the Lord and talk with him through her prayers.

In August of 1999 at ripe age of 43, they miraculously gave birth to to my god daughter Erica Marie.Tammy and husband live happily in Texas with their daugther. I am a believer and still continue to hold on to God's unchanging hand.

Lord, please give us the strength to continue with you on this exciting faith journey.

How to Give More for Less

The Book of Acts 20:35 tells us that the "Lord Jesus himself said: 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.'"

Some of us are more blessed than others in certain areas. Nevertheless, We are all blessed so we should be a blessing to someone else. We must free our heart from anything that might hinder us from reaching out to others.

These are ways that we can effectively share our blessing with others.

Time
Some of us have more time to spare than others. And indeed that is a blessing too. Use that time to be a volunteer in your communities. Be active in your church, nonprofit, charity, charitable, nursing and group home organizations. Try to be part of what you are.

Love
Embrace someone and tell them that you love them. A touch and a hug can bring a smile to someone. The Gift of Love is the most valuable gift than anything we can give.

Advice
"The only thing to do with good advice is pass it on. It is never any use to oneself." --Oscar Wilde
Take a few minutes to listen to the person asking you for advice. Try to imagine yourself in the other person's shoes. And if you been in the same situation, What did you do? No two persons situation are the same but they are all about conflicting emotions and choice. Sometimes if you would only listen to what a person might be trying to say, it could to better than any piece of advice.

Resources
No matter how big or little a gift might be it is the thought that will count. Making a choice to donate to help others is a sign of hope. Rather you donate blood, money, clothing, food it is all in the same for a good cause. Be a blessing to the beggar on the street corner asking for spare change.

God is impressed by our giving ability, and even more impressed by who have small amounts but still are willing to give. The truly real giver is any person who doesn't have much but chooses to give regardless.

I going to be a nosey for a minute. If you are of the Catholic Faith, what is your saint name and what is their story?

My saint name is Jessica.

St. Jessica is a also known by the name of St.Joanna. She was one of the women associated with the ministry of Jesus of Nazareth, often considered to be one of the disciples. In the Bible, she is one of the women recorded in the Gospel of Luke as accompanying Jesus and the twelve: "Mary, called Magdalene, ... and Joanna the wife of Herod's steward Chuza, and Susanna, and many others, who provided for them out of their resources" (Luke 8:2-3).

Joanna is also among the women who went to prepare Jesus' body in Luke's account of the Resurrection, and who later told the apostles and other disciples about the empty tomb and words of the "two men in dazzling clothes

Happy Easter

Perhaps many of us would resist or complain if we were asked to SHARE our last piece of bread with a neighbor. Taking it a step farther some would simply say no if they were asked to GIVE their last piece of bread to a neighbor. It get even better than that, the thought of one losing their child rather it be to drugs, alcoholism, or death would be unbearable.

Our ways are not like God's ways. God gave his ONLY SON that we might have eternal life. He loved us so much that his Son would be crucified to save sinners like you and I. God knew what He was doing and was not afraid to send his Son; this was his plan of salvation.

On the third day in fulfillment of scripture, He rose and He ascended into heaven. and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead. The Easter story is likely to be the most well known story in the Bible

As many prepare their Easter feast it might consist of some type of Lamb. I will say for me and family it will be Lamb. Our menu might look something like this:

Roast mint Leg of Lamb
Buttered mash pototoes
Garlic and herb green beans

Dessert(TBD)

Easter is such a big celebration. Jesus rise from the grave, feasts, and the precious little children dressed in their Easter best. Lastly the big Easter egg hunt.

The Lost Son

But the father said to his servants, 'Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let's have a feast and celebrate. For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.' So they began to celebrate. -Luke 15:22-24

Remember the the son of this certain man. He was known as the prodigal son. There have been times that many of us walked in the same footsteps of the prodigal son. But it will come a time that we must return to God's unchanging hand.

Jesus tells of this story of this certain man that had two sons. And the younger of them asked for his part of the inheritance early in his life. The father gave him his part of the inheritance freely. The son went away to a far land and wasted all of his portion on a riotous lifestyle. He was not a wise man and many of us are as such. When we have been blessed with a extravagant and lavish lifestyles we live for the moment never giving thanks to The Father. Just as the lost son our lavish lifestyles don't last forever, only for awhile.

When he had spent all of his fortune he had to go work in the fields feeding pigs. No one would give him a thing, but when he had plenty he also had plenty of friends. When the funds was all gone so was his friends. DO THIS SOUNDS FAMILIAR?

That young man came to himself and THEN he throught about his father. My father have many hired servants who live well and still have enough to spare. And here I am perishing with hunger and self-pity. He would return to his father to admit that he had sinned and seek forgiveness. All have sinned and Our Father knows that, yet He stand ready to forgive us. There might be times when we feel that we have sinned so badly that we're not worthy to be a child of God. We are much like the prodigal son. He felt the same way and was willing to become a hired servant.

His father welcomed him with his loving arms. He that once was lost, but now is found was presented will a feast fit for a King. The father is a image of Our Heavenly Father. God waits patiently, with loving arms to forgive us when we return to him with our cries.

Oh Heavenly Father, help me to restrain from being a prodigal son.

Teach Them

"Train up a child in the way he should go, Even when he is old he will not depart from it." - Proverbs 22:6

Many times the future looks bleak, but that is not a future without hope. Children are the future and when we teach them we must teach them the best we can. Children is one of God's greatest gift to man. We know all of God's gifts are precious and unique. They must be treated as such, giving honor to God.

They are branches and we are the trees. The tree cannot bear the branches alone. These trees need nurturing and be committed to God's command in order to have good branches. If the trees been nutured proper and God is in the midst the branches will be of the same quality.

"For a good tree does not bear bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit. For every tree is known by its own fruit. For men do not gather figs from thorns, nor do they gather grapes from a bramble bush. Luke 6:43-44

Children are product of their enivorment. That's why it is important to involve them in the church, prayer, and ministry when they are young. Train them with love and understanding. While they are young guide them every step of the way. For you can never teach a child too much.

Happiness

What does happiness mean to you?
I ask myself this same very question each and everyday. During life's journey sometime it is hard to get that answer I am searching for. I am Okay, because when I look into the sand and see only one set of footprints, the Lord is carrying me. If I am not feeling happy with that, then something is seriously wrong.

According to Webster: happiness is one of those emotions associated with our feeling.

These feelings can range from being contended and give a sense of satisfaction to inexpressible joy. Happiness has also been defined as living a flourish life rather an emotion.

No matter what one's take of happiness might be, true happiness can only be found if we seek the Lord, Our God. This happiness is found in the Bible. So many believe that money, fame, beauty, possessions, power, wealth, and human goods will make them happy. Sure, these things can put a smile on our face, as it nothing more than upside down frown. Because these thing come and go, one day we have them and next they gone. As we pursue these things, only to finally realize that they are really meaningless without GOD.

Happiness will definitely excludes these things, unless we allow the Bible to guide our thoughts and actions to more fulfilling life

Perhaps, everyone of us have God-filled testimonials to share. Naturally, when we know of something good we want to tell it to others. Now since we know the Lord and how good he has been to us. Do this make you want to spread the word of his love and grace? If the answer is NO, I guess one doesn't have much good to say either way.

Remember the time you suffered from an illness/sickness?
Did He not bring you through?

How about the time when you were faced with financial difficulties.
Who brought you through?

What about the time you were having problem with a child.
Was it Him that got you through that difficult time?

When you felt so all alone.

Still among the living.
Who got you up this morning?

Signs in The Sun, Moon, And Stars

Sow It and Reap It

Your deeds, good or bad, will repay you in kind. A man's deeds, good or bad will likely return to bless or curse him. How about the farmer who sold butter to a merchant and accepted sugar in exchange; complained that he was getting the short end of the stick. If we do good it will come back, and when we bad it got to come back too. Good and bad actions will surely come again to us unless greater power than mankind intervine to hinder the lesser. These actions might take many years to see their return, but surely there is a God they will come back.

Who Do You Trust

Do not put your trust in princes,in mortal men, who cannot save. - Psalm 146:3

Everyone is sinner, but it is human to a certain degree to put trust in one another. God is the only one that is worthy of our trust. Moses tells us in The Book of Numbers that "God is not a man, that he should lie,nor a son of man, that he should change his mind." Numbers 23:19.

When we trust someone too much, time will come when we find out different. We will become very disappointed. When man began to put another on a pedestal it will lead disillusion. The fact is that we are not perfect, therefore the one to trust is Our Savior.

This post can remind us of a small child that beleive and trust in their parents until they are older. It will come a time when this trust will go beyond what is humanly possible. We cannot trust each other too much, not even self.

Have you ever endured the emotional pains that resulted from the end of a relationship?

Some years ago my now ex-husband left me for another women. The time was when the Millennium was approaching It was a very astonishing moment for everyone; embracing for all the uncertainties and possibilities that many were faced with in the coming day. The day before was like none other. We spent the entire day together preparing. In preparation we stocked up on plenty of water, non-perish foods, flashlights and batteries.

Preparation is so very important, but there are times when no amount of preparation can make up for the emotional pain one might endure after a break-up with a loved one.

I cried until I couldn't cry no more.
I paced back and forth until my feet became tired.
I watch for car lights through path until my eyes became blurry and sore.
My mind became filled with suicidal thoughts.

I must have the strength and courage to move forward. He is the same God that spoke these encouraging words to Joshua, "Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." Man might fail us, but God will never fail us. He is with us every step of the way no what whatever our battles might me.

How often to we ourselves or when we ask a friend or a family member to attend church with us which we get a procrastination response? I will go next Sunday or when I am feeling better. These type of responses are not pleasing to the Lord. I wonder sometimes do the ones that say they are not feeling well realize that He is one that can and will make them feel brand new.

It might not be no next time. For no one know the day nor the hour when the Almighty with appear to take us home. It will be too late for should had, could had,and would had. Now is the time. We should not waste our lives and times in strife and sorrow.

Many times Satan get busy in my life on church day. He tells me, "Oh that outfit looks horrible on you or you need a hair cut." Just wait until next Sunday or the next Sunday. That is when I remind myself that Lord say, "Come as You Are." Beleive me that busy body, the Devil himself, takes control to point that my mind say one thing and my heart another. I fell in the hands of Satan. Do you know what I speaking of?

The recent deadly earthquake in Haiti reminds me that it is time to stop putting off today for tomorrow. If it ever been time to stop procrastinating it is this very moment.

Lord, I want to be ready.

Talking Loud Saying Nothing

What should we say about one another if we have nothing good to say?

We are constantly transferring an abundant amount of information between each other. It is the way we express our thoughts and feelings to others. For without the transferring of information how would we know one another. "Without knowing the force of words it is impossible to know men." -Confucius; Communication is one of the most important skills we have in this life. But malicious communication causes distress, pain and hurt. Christ teaches the importance of guarding our speech. "But I tell you that every careless word that people speak, they shall give an accounting for it in the day of judgment." - Matthew 12:36

The ninth commamdment clearly forbid false witness against the neighbour. - Exodus 20:16

There are times when we have left church and return to our home, critizing the preaching of God's word. I know am guilty of that and I am not alone, so I am sure someone know what I am trying to say. I am now a judgemental people pronouncing gossip or slander in the presence of others and even my children. Consequently, we are destroying respect for God's messengers and message.

Lord, May I learn to control the door of my lips.
